Opened and led by Linh Trinh Nguyen, a co-owner, and the former operator, of the Haymarket institution, Thai Kee IGA. You can also find Gong Grocer in a smaller localised IGA Local Grocer format near the University of New South Wales in Kingsford, on Anzac Parade right next to the Light Rail.
Gong Grocer’s vision is to pay respect to its roots by introducing an exotic flair in a modern supermarket design, to create a complete and enjoyable shopping experience. Its flagship store will stock a large selection of fresh produce and groceries, a premium onsite butcher, as well as a bakery and specialty Asian liquor store to cater for all your shopping needs.
